Our Story

In April 2018, we celebrated our 10 year anniversary as Frontier Kids Care

As part of our celebration, this message was posted to our Facebook page

This March would be ten years since we moved from La Joya, St Joseph to our present Mc Donald Street location.
The last ten years have been such a blessing, since we rebranded to Frontier Kids Care, under the masterful web design of Dwaynne Villiers of VIRB.
We said goodbye to Nemo and friends(our amazing salt water theater/aquarium), to our friends at La Joya, and to
the Resource Centre that we founded, where we held amazing camps and workshops for children and families….

We said hello to this vintage old building, a veritable landmark in Curepe, as the first upstairs house, and the old Warden’s office. We welcomed our Resource Centre as virtual, and continued the core theme of Health, Learning and Parenting.
Eight years after our move in 2016, we re-imagined how we work as a practice, under the guidance of Leadership Core, and developed a mission statement which embraced our core values. In the process, we produced our own art work, in the unlocking theme.
We also welcomed Dr. Liesl Windsor as our Associate Pediatrician, and Lianne as our Saturday receptionist.

Our tenth anniversary brings changes again!
Dr Liesl is off to Boston University to do a three year fellowship in Developmental Pediatrics. What a joy and blessing it was to have to have her! Dr Windsor, you brought joy, sound knowledge and a fresh youthful energy to us, and you will be missed so much! May the good Lord bless your endeavors. And please come back, Trinidad and Tobago badly needs your expertise!
We also piloted our Food Matters! program and we are happy to announce that Food Matters now has a new home in
the Annexe, a newly remodeled meeting and events space downstairs of Frontier Kids Care.

Look out for our new, upgraded website coming soon.

As we enter another decade of service, we ask you to keep us in your prayers, as we endeavor to embrace new frontiers at FKC.
